OBAATANPA MID-YEAR BUDGET IS UNRELIABLE AND MEANINGLESS TO GHANAIANS--- MR AKWASI ADDAI ODIKE.

The Founder and Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP) who also standing as presidential candidate,Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike has vehemently described mid- year budget as unreliable and meaningless. He explained his words on a show called KA NA WU chaird by Omanhene Nana Kofi Amankwaa saying, budget been read in Parliment by the Finance Minister,Ken Ofori Atta was meaningless budget and added that the President and his family are destroying this country. Through in exclusive Interview,he revealed that,the title of the budget is unreliable and therefore does not suit the name "OBAATANPA". He again said NPP government have not been able to honest any of the promises they made to Ghanians in 2016 and therefore must be voted out of office in 2020 December. A Ghanaian musician cum social media icon, Archipalago has fulfilled what he said he would do. He vowed to unveil the real identity of Ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and he has eventually done that. He has posted on social media a picture of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ passport which bears his name as well as picture. Based on this, it would be impossible and difficult to say that the picture in the passport isn’t Anas Aremeyaw Anas. In as much as he has been able to uncover how Anas Aremeyaw Anas looks like, what would he gain from that? Is that going to affect the way Anas Aremeyaw Anas will carry out his investigative projects henceforth?

POLICE OFFICER ABANDONED A LADY OVER REFUSAL TO ABORT PREGNANCY

A police officer at Osenase of the Akwatia District Police Command Lans Corpora Stephen Ofori (service driver) has abandoned a 23 year old Ernestina Yeboah over refusal to cause an illegal abortion. According to Ernestina, her six(6) month old pregnancy has caused her to lose her job which hence life have become unbearable. She says after complaining the pregnancy to her boyfriend Ofori, he disagreed and claim he is not responsible. Meanwhile a week later, he called Ernestina to connive with her to spoil the pregnancy although he insisted he is not responsible. Lans copra Stephen Ofori who is deniening the responsibility of the pregnancy send an amount of GH¢ 250.00 and allegedly threatened to curse Ernestina and the family if she refuse to abort the child. Supreme Court gives EC green light to begin voters registration exercise

The Supreme Court of Ghana The Supreme Court of Ghana has given the Electoral Commission green light to begin with the compilation of a new voters register. The ruling was decided by a 7-member panel presided by Chief Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah on June 25, 2020. The Superior Court said, the Electoral Commission is an independent body and should in case acts contrary will be directed by the law. There was a misunderstanding between the biggest opposition party NDC and the office of the AG whether the court will allowed the use of the existing ID card. Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the biggest opposition party NDC Johnson Aseidu Nketia popularly known as "General Mosquito" in an interview with the media said the court had ruled in the party's favour. The counsel of the parties involved are waiting at the court premises for a written order for clarity on the ruling.
